Men of Tomorrow
The “Men of Tomorrow” program is built on six basic tenants:

The mission of the “Men of Tomorrow” program is to serve as a catalyst to transform the culture and experience of young men in Southeast Michigan by reaching their hearts and minds through mentoring relationships and cohort experiences. The monthly programming activities combine learning, fun, leadership opportunities, peer mentoring, and self-esteem building exercises. The young men will participate in workshops and experiences in leadership, team building, social skills, entrepreneurship, career preparation, and personal development.
The “Men of Tomorrow” seeks to cultivate:
• A community of mentors and role models who listen, encourage and believe.
• A community of men who model integrity, accountability, compassion and respect.
• A community where boys are empowered to speak their truth and encouraged to take
responsibility for their choices.
• A community where boys feel supported, listened to and valued.
• A community where boys see their peers are facing similar challenges, and they are not alone
in their struggles.
A primary outcome of the “Men of Tomorrow” program is that participants will be prepared and commissioned to model the mission of the program and positively influence their peers.
We are excited to bring this monthly program to the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys of Mackenzie Elementary Middle School. We will meet after school on the second Monday of each month beginning in January 2024 – May 2024. We hope that you will join us!
